Our friends at Nomad are out today with a new product for AirPods Pro & AirPods Pro 2 users — a unique Sport Case that takes design language from Nomad’s Sport cases and Apple Watch Sport straps.
The new Sport case for AirPods Pro 2 is comprised of a high-gloss grippy ABS acrylic shell and a TPE bumper around the edge that aids with ruggedness. The interior is lined with an anti-scratch microfiber lining.
Nomad has taken care to ensure that the wireless charging experience remains unhindered by incorporating a light pipe that allows the AirPods Pro 2 charging case indicator to shine through.
Moreover, integrated speaker and lanyard cutouts allow you to continue using those features while enjoying the protection of an external case.
For those wondering, while the case is designed for the AirPods Pro 2, it will also be fully backwards compatible with the original AirPods Pro.
Nomad’s Sport Case for the AirPods Pro 2 retail for $30 on the company’s website and are available in three colors including Ash Green, Lunar Gray, and Marine Blue, matching the same color scheme as the brand’s Sport Case and Apple Watch Sport strap lineup.
