Along comes another Sunday and, consequently, we add another incredible set of photo quality iPhone backgrounds to the iDB Wallpapers of the Week collection. Extremely hot and incredibly cold temperatures typify the desert landscape. Recalling these extremes, the smooth blue, yellow, and orange gradients of these desert dunes iPhone wallpapers are perfect contrasts to each other.

Instead of a simple Google image search that would return anonymous results, we like to highlight specific digital artists with our weekly wallpaper collections. Today’s featured designer is @jianoliu. On Twitter, the account is regularly posting incredible backgrounds that are hosted for download via Drive or the corresponding Telegram channel. I recommend a follow!
I found the following collection via a Twitter post and was struck by the various sky colors. My favorite of the desert dunes downloads is the orange and purple sunset. I’m not sure why I’m drawn to it specifically, but I like the hot popping orange, which is contrasted with the cool deep, royal purple of the coming night sky. Ever since I snagged a purple M1 iMac, and now the Deep Purple iPhone 14 Pro Max, I feel like I over index on purple wallpapers. Maybe, it’s a vibe.
As a little bonus, I also posted another jianoliu wallpaper, found last. A fully purple mountainscape, rounds out the desert mountain pack. While a lush mountain range is the opposite of a hot desert, the rolling mountains with a gradient sky equally matches the aesthetic.
