It’s time again for another Apps of the Week roundup! This week we have some great selections for you including a different kind of weather app, a quick way to clean out your Camera roll and a whole new audio experience. And as always, we’ve selected a fun game for you to check out.
Weather Strip
If you’re not getting what you want out of your current weather apps and widgets, check out Weather Strip. Its goal is to show you as much information as possible at a glance. Features include beautiful Home screen widgets with week long forecasts, extreme weather warnings, air quality reports, and more. I like that they give you a generous 2-week free trial.
Swipewipe
Messy Camera rolls beware, Swipewipe is here! Swipewipe is a simple app that makes it quick and easy to mass delete unwanted photos from your device. Photos are categorized by month taken and served up to you one at a time where you can swipe left to delete, right to keep or tap to go back. Once a month is cleared you can move onto the next one.
Ammersive
Here’s an interesting concept. Ammersive is a one of a kind platform for experiential immersive audio (think 3D, spatial). Using an array of voice artists, sound designers and writers, the team’s goal is to take listeners on aural journeys into other realms to experience new ideas and concepts. I know it sounds wild, just think VR for your ears and give it a shot.
That’s a cow
Looking for a fun, quirky game to play this weekend? That’s a cow may be worth checking out. In it you play as a small cow that can fly around using its own…jet milk. I know it sounds weird but this is a very fun and dynamic 3D platformer with 100+ hand-crafted levels and 20+ unique cows to try. The controls are simple, yet offer infinite possibilities.
