Prevent accidental dismissals of the SoundHound app’s tagging interface with ExitTagConfirm

With the release of a new and free jailbreak tweak called ExitTagConfirm by iOS developer CydiaGeek, users of the popular SoundHound song-tagging app can rest assured they won’t dismiss the song tagger by accident ever again.

With the tweak installed, users will need to confirm via a pop-up alert that they actually want to dismiss the song-tagging view before it happens.

Users may want this tweak if they find themselves dismissing the song-tagging feature by mistake time and time again, which can be a frustrating mistake when you’re in the middle of trying to learn what song’s playing before it ends.

In addition to the confirmation alert, the developer has integrated haptic feedback into the SoundHound app’s song tagging interface dismissal button, which will help you in being more aware of when tap it by accident.

ExitTagConfirm is available as a free download from the BigBoss repository via your favorite package manager app and doesn’t come to any options to configure. The tweak supports jailbroken iOS 14 devices and the latest version of the SoundHound app, which at the time of this writing is v10.0.

Please note that future updates to the SoundHound app have the potential to break this tweak, requiring the developer to update it. It’s recommended that you avoid updating the SoundHound app to newer versions without first waiting for the developer to confirm compatibility.
