Internet provider Frontier treats all new customers who sign up for its new 2 Gigabit Fiber plan to a free Apple TV 4K box. It has another surprise for customers, too.
- Frontier’s new deal: Sign up for its new internet plan and get a free Apple TV 4K.
- Also, all new and existing Frontier customers get three free months of Apple TV+.
- The 32GB/64GB Apple TV 4K retails for $179/$199. Apple TV+ is $55/month.
Frontier is giving free Apple TV 4K
2 Gigabit Fiber is Frontier’s latest and greatest internet plan that includes a Wi-Fi 6E router and extender. It’s also the company’s most expensive plan at $50/month.
Frontier is basically paying for your Apple TV 4K and then recouping hardware costs with monthly charges throughout your service agreement with Frontier. If you don’t have an Apple TV and don’t mind switching providers (Frontier is available in 25 US states), then it could be a good idea to sign up for Frontier’s new plan to claim your free Apple TV 4K. Unfortunately, the announcement doesn’t make it clear whether they’re giving away the first or second-generation Apple TV 4K.
The promotion starts today.
Also, three months of free Apple TV+
Frontier has a new perk for all customers regardless of their plan: Three free months of Apple TV+. As you know, Apple TV+ is a $5/month video service from Apple that only provides original programming. We saw similar deals offering several months of free Apple Music and Apple TV+ so it’s nice knowing that now you can enjoy Apple’s original movies and TV shows no matter if you’re new or existing customer, without paying extra. “Frontier customers can enjoy the blazing-fast speed of Frontier’s fiber combined with Apple TV+ and Apple TV 4K, providing them with a better way to watch all the shows and movies they love,” reads the announcement on the Frontier website.
In comparison, Apple itself offers Apple TV+ with a fair short one-week free trial.
