This tweak gives the Settings app a modernized makeover on pwned handsets

The Settings app hasn’t changed much over the years, prompting the jailbreak community to preempt Apple time and time again.

The latest of such efforts comes by way of a newly released and free jailbreak tweak called ModernStyleSettings by iOS developer Netskao.

As you’ll see in the before (left) and after (right) screenshot examples below, ModernStyleSettings does away with the blocky edge-to-edge cells in the stock Settings app and replaces them with floating cell groups that have rounded corners.

The visual appeal of this aesthetic is evident to anyone who has an iPhone with a notch, as the rounded corners of the display on these devices play nicely with the rounded corners of the cells in the Settings app.

With no options to configure, what you see if ultimately what you get. Those interested in giving it a try can download it for free from the BigBoss repository via their favorite package manager.

Note that the tweak works with all jailbroken iOS 11, 12, 13, and 14 devices, which covers a wide variety of jailbreaks and device types.
