This tweak enables the numeric battery percent in the Status Bar for notched iOS 14 devices

A popular feature that is noticeably missing from notched iPhones that continues to exist on older Home Button-equipped handsets is the Battery Percent display for the Status Bar’s battery level indicator.

For whatever reason, Apple thought it would be a good idea to remove this feature entirely while continuing to harbor assets in the mobile operating system for an upgraded and better looking Battery Percent display on such devices.

A newly released and free jailbreak tweak dubbed EnableBatteryPercent by iOS developer ginsu enables the aforementioned assets, allowing even notched iPhone users to have a numeric battery percentage in their Status Bar.

Shown above, EnableBatteryPercent displays the numeric battery percentage inside of the Status Bar’s battery level indicator icon itself, not only saving precious Status Bar space with a more compact design, but also continuing to show the information that a lot of users actually want to see.

EnableBatteryPercent doesn’t come with any options to configure, so merely installing the tweak is all you need to do to take advantage of the upgraded Status Bar-centric battery level indicator. To return to the original, one would merely need to uninstall the tweak.

EnableBatteryPercent is available for free from ginsu’s personal repository and supports jailbroken iOS 14 devices. If you’re not already using ginsu’s repository, then you can add it to your preferred package manager via the following URL:
