‘Doug Unplugs’ gets an official trailer ahead of November 13 debut on Apple TV+

Apple TV+ has a pretty wide range of content available to watch, and the streaming service is getting a couple new kid-friendly shows before the end of 2020 as well.

Today, Apple TV+ shared the first official trailer for one of those new shows, Doug Unplugs. We first heard about this one back in September of this year, when Apple confirmed the new show would premiere on November 13, 2020. Apple’s trailer today says Doug is a “boy robot who’s taking on the world one curious question at a time”.

But here’s the description of the new series we heard about earlier this year:

[a robot] who senses there’s more to life than just the facts. While other robots plug in for their daily download, curious Doug unplugs and journeys into the human world, and with his best friend Emma, experiences its wonders firsthand.

And here’s the official trailer shared today:

This looks like it will definitely fit the kid-friendly tone Apple has set with its other similar shows like Ghostwriter and Helpsters.

Speaking of kids, Apple TV+ also shared the first official trailer for the documentary series Becoming You today. This one tells the story of 100 kids from all across the world in a six-part documentary.

Doug Unplugs will premiere on Apple TV+ on Friday, November 13, 2020.
