AirPods Pro get color customization from ColorWare starting at $389

The AirPods Pro are Apple’s newest version of its truly wireless headphones, but for anyone that may have been hoping they’d be available in a different color other than white, that unfortunately did not turn out to be the case.

But that’s where ColorWare comes in, a company that has made a name for itself over the years by offering up unique color customization options or a range of products. Including AirPods. And now the AirPods Pro. And as is par for the course for ColorWare, there are a variety of color options to choose from, including metallics. And what’s more, you can choose a different color for each AirPod Pro individually.

Options include black, blue, yellow, purple, red, gold, aqua, and many others, along with metallic variants. If you want the custom color option, you can even opt to get a different color for your wireless charging case, too.

Pricing starts at $389 — a $139 hike over the stock $250 price. And that’s only if you color the two AirPods Pro. If you choose to give a color treatment to the wireless charging case as well, you’ll need to fork over an additional $50, bringing the total price to $439.

It’s definitely not cheap, but ColorWare has outstanding products. If you do decide to go this route you’ll need to wait between two to three weeks for delivery, so keep that in mind.

As I hinted at above, there was a rumor that cropped up before the AirPods Pro became official that Apple was planning on launching the new truly wireless headphones in a range of eight different colors, including Midnight Green. But that didn’t happen, obviously.

Maybe one day.

Do you think you’ll get some ColorWare-tweaked AirPods Pro?
