RePower XII supercharges your iPhone’s power down menu

There’s no doubt that the iPhone’s native power down screen leaves a lot to be desired, but with the help of a new jailbreak tweak called RePower XII by iOS developer Haifisch, you can change that.

RePower XII supercharges the native power down interface, providing users with several other switches besides powering off. Those include:

  • Rebooting the device
  • Respringing the device
  • Entering Safe Mode
  • Clearing the UICache

If it wasn’t already evident from the screenshot examples above, RePower XII lets you choose between different interface styles. While we’re partial to the native-style interface on the left, we’ve also found that the newer interface on the right is more compact and that it gets the job done just as well with less clutter.

In addition to augmenting the slider selection, RePower XII also integrates optional device information readouts, which display things such as RAM stats and uptime, among other things:

RePower XII puts a preference pane in the Settings app where you can choose your preferred interface style and opt in or out of having the device information readouts present in the power down interface.

If you’re interested in trying RePower XII, then you can download it for $1.00 via the Packix repository in Cydia or Sileo. The tweak supports all jailbroken iOS 12 devices, including the A12(X) variety.
