Apple hosting massive iTunes movie bundle sale

itunes movie sale

Ok movie buffs, listen up. Apple just launched a major iTunes movie bundle sale that would put the $4.99 Blu-Ray tub at Walmart to shame. There’s dozens of different bundles available, of various genres, starting at just $9.99.

I myself have already grabbed the Matrix Trilogy for $9.99, as well as Taken 1 and 2 for the same price. There’s also the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and the Jurassic Park trilogy, and several other movie sets/bundles to choose from…

Apple notes this special promotion is only running for a limited time. So if you see something you like below, you may not want to wait too long. All links are for the US App Store (not sure if sale is International).

  • The Lord of the Rings Trilogy – $9.99 (normally $44.97)
  • The Bourne Collection – $29.99 (normally $59.96)
  • The X-Men Quadrilogy – $29.99 (normally $59.96)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1-3 – $9.99 (normally $44.97)
  • The Matrix Trilogy – $9.99 (normally $44.97)
  • The Jurassic Park Bundle – $19.99 (normally $44.97)

And the list goes on and on. It’s worth noting that all of these prices are for the High Definition versions of the films. Standard Definition versions of the movies are also available, at a slight discount, for those that would prefer them.

Update: well it was fun while it lasted. It looks like Apple has upped the pricing on the bundles—Harry Potter collection is now $60, for example. Hopefully you were able to download some movies before that happened.
