iPad 4G shows up in Apple inventory

Apple’s highly-anticipated iPad 3 event is just half an hour away. But that hasn’t stopped tipsters from coming forward with some last-minute information regarding today’s announcements.

9to5Mac is reporting that it has just received a couple of tips from its always reliable “Mr X” source. It appears that 4G LTE iPads are already populating in Apple’s inventory, as are the “mystery” accessories we’ve been hearing about…

According to the report, the first 4G iPad to turn up in retail systems is product MD369LL/A, which is the 16GB iPad Wi-Fi 4G model. The source also notes that this particular model is USA-only, so it’ll be interesting to see if 4G iPads make it outside of the States.

Along with the iPad, the site has also been able to identify another new product. It appears the “mystery” accessory we’ve been hearing about over the past week or so, the B82, is nothing but an updated Apple Digital AV Adapter. Yeah, we’re kind of disappointed too.

Stay tuned…
