Apple updates Clips app with soccer-themed content ahead of 2018 FIFA World Cup

The 21st FIFA World Cup is scheduled to take place in Russia from June 14 to July 15, 2018 so Apple’s conveniently updated its Clips video-editing software for iOS with related content.

New soccer-related content available in Clips 2.0.4 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch includes soccer graphics and a label which you can add to your videos. Additionally, there’s a new soccer-themed background poster with customizable text elements.

In March, Clips received another semi-major update bringing out freshly updated assets, including all-new selfie scenes, animated stickers and way more.

Clips 2.0 came last November with impressive 360-degree selfie scenes that require the iPhone X TrueDepth camera, Star Wars stickers, a revamped user interface and other perks.

With Clips, anyone can create personalized, expressive videos on their iOS device that combine videos, photos, music, filters, voice-based titles and other interactive elements.

Clips is a free download from App Store.
