WWDC scheduled for June 4-8 in San Jose, registration now open

Apple has announced that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference will take place during the week of June 4-8, in San Jose, California at the McEnery Convention Center. Registration is now open for folks hoping to attend.

As in previous years, the opportunity to buy tickets to WWDC18 is offered by random selection. The deadline for registration is March 22, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. PDT. Tickets cost $1,599 USD, but scholarships will be made available.

We are expecting Apple to take the stage on June 4 to offer up a preview of its 4 major platforms including iOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS. There has also been rumors that the company will use the event to introduce new hardware.

Other things to expect if you’re attending WWDC: over 100 technical and design-focused sessions presented by Apple engineers, hands-on labs, consultations with app experts, guest speakers and of course a plethora of get-togethers.
