iPhone 7 Deep Blue The MAlignant 002

If you can’t get enough of Space Black/Deep Blue iPhone colorways, we’ve got you covered with some nice looking photos of alleged iPhone 7 Pro units in Apple Watch-style Space Black finish that’s supposed to replace the current Space Gray option. Plus, we have a bunch of crisp shots of a working iPhone 7 Pro prototype in Deep Blue.

Feast your eyes on the photos and let us know your thoughts in the comments.

More iPhone 7 Space Black images

As you can see below, the images purportedly show a rumored iPhone 7 Pro model sporting three pins on the backside, presumably for a Smart Connector. We can clearly see curved appearance of the dual-camera system on the back, along with cleaner antenna lines and a SIM tray on the side (so no e-SIM for the next iPhone).

The Home button seems to sit flush with the front face, yet another indication that the iPhone 7 may come with a non-moving Home button outfitted with pressure sensors and haptic feedback to simulate clicks.

How about Deep Blue?

The images you see below were sent to Chinese site PCOnline.com.cn by an unknown source. The pictured unit is apparently an engineering prototype, running iOS 10. A few images show the device running Apple’s internal testing software, called SwitchBoard.

Aside from a nice-looking blueish hue, the device’s backside sports dual cameras, in line with previous rumors, along with legitimate-looking iPhone branding.

Whether or not the device on these crisp photographs is a regular 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus model or its rumored “Pro” counterpart is anyone’s guess, but one rumor said Apple had abandoned Deep Blue in favor of a more subdued Space Black finish.

All I know is I want one of those blue babies!

Yesterday’s Space Black photos

Yesterday, Dutch blog TechTastic.nl posted high-quality photos of iPhone 7 casings in Space Black that you can see right below. Japanese blog Mac Otakara was first to report earlier in the summer that the iPhone 7 might come in a new Deep Blue colorway, but the post was later amended to indicate that the hue is actually more akin to the stainless steel Apple Watch in Space Black, so there’s that.

iPhone 7 to support fast-charge tech?

Last but not least, earlier this morning The Malignant posted a sketchy image suggesting that the iPhone 7 may use a special circuitry to support “at least” 5-volt, 2-amp fast-charging. The image below is said to show an iPhone 6s logic board next to its iPhone 7 counterpart with a new circuitry to support fast-charge technology.

September cannot come soon enough!

With a little more than three weeks left until a rumored September 7 unveiling, small wonder we’re now seeing high-quality photographs of genuine-looking iPhone 7 parts.

I’m eager to hear your thoughts on these rumored Space Black-like and Deep Blue colorways for the next iPhone. Would you pick one over another, and why?

Aww man the Crips are gonna love these!

      Gang gang

  • Pam Oakea

I want space black. Not interested in blue at all. Why can’t Apple match the antenna lines to the phone? Why white? Interesting that you are calling this the pro when everyone else is reporting that Apple has abondoned the pro moniker at least this year.

    • I know, but that’s what the sources called these units. One of the images show three models: 4.7″ iPhone 7, 5.5″ iPhone 7 Plus and 5.5″ iPhone 7 Pro with dual cameras.

      • Tony Morris

Which photo is that? The photo above with 3 phones show an iphone 6/6S & 6+/6S+ with what appears to be a iphone 7 plus. You can tell by the antenna lines that these are clearly older models.

      • Whoops, you’re right about that. Should have looked more closely at the photos before replying to your comment 😀

    • h4nd0fg0d

I’ve been asking the very same antenna line coloring question many many times. Couldn’t agree more. Its as though Apple wants to showcase them. Smh, lmfao…

      • Bill

If they attempt to color match the lines, people will complain that the color is a bit off…and it most likely would be due to the different materials. So surely Apple says “ah screw it, just go with contrasting colors”

People will bitch and moan either way, though. Clearly. LOL!

      • h4nd0fg0d

Off by a small degree would unquestionably be far better than any other option imaginable, especially contrasting. No? Yes.

    • Xee

Same couldn’t give a toss about blue. Black all the way!

iPhone pro will cost a fortune.

    • Abhijeet Gupta

at least in India it will.

  • Jamessmooth

I gotta say… if they offer blue AND black, its gonna be a tough choice. Those both look sweeeeeeeet

  • Pj Hickey

hope the blue has a white front, 100% buying if it does hate black

      • Pj Hickey

i can’t stand the black front on the iPhones always wanted space grey but had a black front, have to go with white, just seems cleaner and you don’t see so much smudge marks

      • Eliijah Moss

Lol. Just messing with you. I agree as well. I don’t hate the color black, but I would love to see a space black iPhone with a white screen. What you could do is buy a black phone, purchase a white LCD panel from a trusted source like iFixit, and get someone to swap it out. But that scenario racks money up.

      • Xee

Makes your screen look smaller, and less seamless.

      • YaBoyLilMayo

  • New colorways won’t get me to purchase a device that has very little “new” to offer, unless they shock people with a new screen and something else… but upgraded optics, more ram and new colorway doesn’t get me excited.

    • n0ahcruz3

They added rose gold for the 6s/6s+! And they sold even more!.. Oh wait.. Lol

  • wwian

Can anyone read the IMEI number on any of those blue phones? Last time I looked, the IMEI’s on some of these secret photos matched iphone 6 model info.

  • T. Allen

Dosn’t really seem like a “deep” blue as some of the earlier pictures and renderings showed. This looks more like a metallic blue. Leaning towards the black one.

  • That blue looks so sweet, but the actual featureset will have to impress me enough to buy the 7.

  • Corey Hawkins II

I was really hoping they would stay with the deep Navy Blue. Dang. /:

  • alexy

These are not real iPhones. There are just dummies created by obscure Chinese companies based on some supposedly leaked or guessed information.

The Galaxy Note 7 is looking nice..

    • 5723alex .

Right, but only if it comes with iOS and in black.

  • Andrieux Querido

    The Blue one is Gorgeous.

  • ravinigga

I see no 3 dots on the back

  • Shubham Prajapati

Deep Blue Gang Bang Nailed it !

  • Jonny

Love that blue! Hope the white lines mean a white front on the final product. Only Space black needs a black front.

  • Jonny

One question to the group: Anybody actually like the antenna lines on 6/ 6s? I ask because I always liked them and I always thought they added to the design. I’m afraid with them silver and gold will just look like random pieces of aluminum (and silver is my favorite- it’s what I chose in 5s and 6s): Pure Apple.
