How to enable five additional dynamic wallpapers in iOS 7

By , Mar 31, 2014

HiddenWallpapers 1

Do you enjoy using iOS 7’s dynamic wallpaper feature? Would you like to get your hands on five additional wallpapers? If the answer to those questions was yes, then you definitely need to check out this jailbreak tweak.

HiddenWallpapers is a jailbreak tweak that’s available free on Cydia, and it unlocks five additional dynamic wallpapers for your iOS 7 device. Three of the wallpapers are admittedly a bit pedestrian, but there are two that I think are quite special. Have a look at our video after the break to see the new wallpapers in action.

Once you install HiddenWallpapers, go to Settings > Wallpapers & Brightness and select Dynamic wallpaper. Scroll to the bottom of the list of dynamic wallpaper to find the five additional wallpapers.

HiddenWallpapers 5

The first three additional wallpapers are fairly average, but the last two make the tweak worth downloading. There’s a deep-red wallpaper and an even cooler dark dynamic wallpaper with different colored bubbles. The dark wallpaper is without a doubt the coolest looking dynamic wallpaper available, and I highly recommend you try it out for yourself.

It should be mentioned that HiddenWallpapers doesn’t require WinterBoard in order to work. Just install it, go to you wallpaper settings and enjoy your five new dynamic wallpapers.

HiddenWallpapers is free of charge on Cydia’s BigBoss repo. Download it today, and let us know what you think about it in the comments below.

I know its off topic but why is siri making a timer for calling emergency when i say 999? :O is it new ?

    • ✪ aidan harris ✪

I’m guesing it’s because you have time to cancel if Siri interprets your input wrongly or if you ask it ‘999’ just to see what it’ll do even if you aren’t actually in an emergancy…

      • Jonathan

^Agree. That’s what I was going to say.

      • Maxim∑

999 is the emergency number in Canada

      • Om

No. 911 is the emergency number in Canada. 999 is for certain countries in Europe and Asia.

      • Giel Konink

Nope in europe it is 112

      • Butch Danes

Lol. You must really be slow to think 999 is the emergency number in Canada. As a Canadian, I find that very funny and sad at the same time.

      • Maxim∑

I’m not Canadian so deal with it. And diving into more detail

“The emergency number 999 was adopted in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in 1959 at the urging of Stephen Juba, mayor of Winnipeg at the time.[9] The city changed the number to 911 in 1972″

        Your not above everyone

      • Butch Danes

“I’m not Canadian so deal with it.”

Is that your first response when someone corrects you on something? Because if so, you must either still be a teenager or an adult who isn’t too smart and can’t handle being corrected. I especially like how you had to Google your response and copy it from Wikipedia. You couldn’t even copy and paste it properly as the [9] citation mark is still showing.

Do yourself a favour next time and check your knowledge before leaving a comment. You don’t want to be corrected again and be forced to tell someone else to “deal with it.”

        “So deal with it”?

Way to make yourself sound like a child. Well done..

        Mad?

  • hkgsulphate

the question is, why did Apple hide them?

    • Thiago Vaccaro

Probably because they’re going to add them on iOS 8

      • Jonathan

Then why even include them? Apple would have known we would see them eventually through iFunbox or jailbreaking and iFile..

      • Alan

Besides the black one the others are on the iPod touch 5

      • Butch Danes

Apple on iOS 8: We introduced Dynamic wallpapers and you loved them. You even asked when will Apple bring out more so I’m here today to tell you that we listened. iOS 8 now has new dynamic wallpapers. Isn’t that so awesome? Apple fans: cheering and clapping.

      • The Lazer Collector

Yaweh, iOS 8 is going to feature a fully function DDoS Attack tool straight from the illuminati, for only an extra 100 of your earth dollars.

        -Apple

      • The Lazer Collector

        And I really enjoy banananananas.

      • The Lazer Collector

        And orang3s

    • Andrew Roth

The ones on the iPod are made to match the colors of the iPod while the ones on iPhone are for the iPhone. They’re only hidden on certain devices.

  • Jonathan

That last one is just ridiculous.

    • Anthony Gilera

That last one is my favourite lol.

      • Jonathan

No offense, but I’m glad you’re not the designer. :P

      • David Villamizar

Plot twist: he is the designer.

It’s not that ugly, its really different and that makes it look good to me.

      • Anthony Gilera

        None taken haha.

  • Kim Olsson

All mine has snow flakes in them instead of bubbles?!

    • sshadowssin

You have, or have had iDynamic installed and you changed it at some point. I did too, just fixed mine

      • Creavite

But how do you fix it?

      • sshadowssin

I had uninstalled it, so I reinstalled, selected the default iOS dynamic wallpaper and uninstalled again.

      • David Villamizar

That tweak sucks, people should stay away from it.

      • Creavite

        It worked. Thanks

  • Sam Khan

    Looks cool with ayeris

    • Ramses

      what’s that Theme Called?

      • TheShade247

        Ayeris

  • CS

I’m not a fan of dynamic wallpapers. (brings back horrible memories of my old samsung galaxy on android froyo) but, this one looks nice.

    • David Castaneda

what tweaks do you have installed on this lockscreen? font too?

      • CS

        Jelly Lock 7
        JellyClock 7
        Bariol font iOS 7

  • http://sarmad.me/ Sarmad Makhdoom

It didn’t add any new wallpaper on my iPhone 4S. Weird…

    • Ryan James Christensen

They might be invisible. I have a 4S and have all the wallpapers except the black one doesn’t appear in the settings app. Try tapping below a wallpaper to see if it’s there.

      • http://sarmad.me/ Sarmad Makhdoom

        Yeah got it… Thx

  • http://twitter.com/renniih Renii

I don’t know why settings app crashes when I scroll down to see the extra wallpapers with this tweak. I’ve reinstalled it twice, and it just doesn’t work :/

    • Ryan Vieke

This is happening to me too! I want the multicolor one!

  • Josh

    Cool..

  • Chocolope Jailbreakush

    Need more of these.

  • http://www.apple.com St3vè Jb

Hi Jeff… Nothing install w/ this tweak #NotSpecial4Mè

  • Yunsar

By the way, the wallpapers with the colours are from the iPod Touch

  • HiGhGuY

At first I thought this was going to be cool… until I figured it out it was the same lame wall paper in different colors.

  • Andrew Roth

It doesn’t mention this in the post but the new wallpapers are taken from the iPhone and put on your iPod or vice versa. The devices have different ones and this simply unhides them. The red one is for Product Red devices.

  • Robert Goldberg

so. many. bubbles… Can there be something else?

  • Lucus Bendzsa

hidden. so am i to assume that these were there in hidden text?

  • Noah Breaux

My settings crashes when I scroll down to view the last four new dynamic wallpapers, everytime. Anyone have a fix?

    • Rich

I have the same problem anyone fixes for the I have a iPhone 5s

      • Telamon Bryant

I have a similar, but more serious problem. Cydia, Safari, and Mail crash on my jailbroken iPhone 4 running iOS 7.1 when I try to open either of them. Sadly, I forgot to install afc2app or iFile. Winterboard is causing this when I accidentally pressed “Reboot device” instead of returning to home

  • Telamon Bryant

Here’s the problem: i’m running iOS 7.1.1 on an iPad Mini 1st Gen and it’s unsupported. I do have a jailbroken iPhone 4 running iOS 7.1, but Cydia, Safari, and Mail crash when I open either on the 4, and no, I haven’t installed afc2add nor iFile. Plz help! :(

  • Chris Redfield

Having to jailbreak to do simple things on iPhone…..tsk tsk
