Stopwatch Pro

Stopwatch Pro is a recently released jailbreak tweak that we previewed a few weeks ago. It’s an enhancement for the iPhone’s stock Clock app, which allows you to save the times and laps logged in the stopwatch section of the app. Stopwatch Pro is self contained within the stock Clock app and features no settings or options to configure. Have a look at our full video walkthrough after the break.

Once installed, you’ll notice two new features in the stock Clock app — a save button under the Stopwatch tab, and a new tab labeled Saved. Tapping the Save button will log your progress to a section under the Saved tab for your later perusal. You can even create multiple laps, and each will be logged accordingly.

To keep things organized, Stopwatch Pro includes the ability to create headers for all of your saved data. Simply tap the edit button under the Saved tab, and tap add to create a new header. Data can be organized using drag handles to position saved times under specific headings.

If you’re a runner, a jogger, or any other sort of active person, then I can certainly see Stopwatch Pro being of use to you. The tweak is improved over the initial version we previewed, and it’s a solid addition to the stock Clock app. You can find Stopwatch Pro on Cydia’s BigBoss repo for $0.99. I gotta say, it’s going to be very hard to get me to pay for any tweak considering I plan on upgrading when iOS 7 is released…

is there any way to put timers on the lockscreen

Good question! I’d love this as well!

tell Siri to start the timer and then just ask her for updates

Sounds like a whole lot more steps than ‘Look at lock screen’ O.o
