QuickStore is a jailbreak tweak that allows users to quickly open App Store links within apps. The tweak contains a simple kill switch located in the Settings app, but outside of that, it’s ready to go as soon as it’s installed.

When App Store links are tapped while within another app, i.e. from Safari, then a pop up window will load the App Store inside of the currently running app.

QuickStore is compatible with iOS 6, and is available free of charge from Cydia’s BigBoss repo. What do you think? Would you consider using it?

  • Oh my goodness. That’s brilliant.

  • Deveh

These are those little simple things that should just be in iOS by default.

  • So I just installed it and it’s fabulous.

  • Love this. Just wish the password input would pop up over the pop up. Haha.

  • Oh yes!!! This can be real helpful!!!

    I cant find it

  • Once there was a twaek that Opens Safari in Apps, i forgot the name. Can someone help me pls?

It’s called Browse in App… although, I switched it out for AppSlide which does what this tweak (QuickStore) does but for every app that tries to redirect you. 🙂

      • A yeah thanks a lot

      • Holy crap! Appslide is amazing. Thanks for the recommendation.

      • blawbair

        You’re welcome! 🙂

  • blawbair

AppSlide (by chpwn) does this with every app that tries to redirect you. Also, there’s a video by Jeff if you search this site. Enjoy! 🙂

    • Such an unnoticed and underestimated tweak. Its probably one of the best tweaks I use and I can’t believe I didn’t find it until last week.

Hey, you and me both! 🙂

      • I just found it today and it’s fantastic.

This is a cool tweak, but several weeks ago, I discovered that Apple does already do this–but not just anywhere. If you’ve gotten an e-mail recently from Apple with a receipt of a purchase, there is usually a section on the right titled ‘Those who bought your selections also bought:’. If you tap on one of those links, it will bring up the App Store just like this tweak does. Pretty neat, huh? I’m using an iPhone 5.

    • Devam

Apple has an API for that which was introduced in ios 6.. Even Facebook does that!

    Thats Awesome !

  • i want a tweak to stop apps store links from opening at all

    • tim

LinkSafe does this. Sort of. It has a confirmation pop up every time a link tries to leave the current app. The dev, will strafach for some reason says this isn’t even iOS 5 compatible, but I can say it worked flawlessly then, and does now (6.1.2) on both iPhones and iPads. Give it a go. It’s grouse. It is $0.99, but is removed from sale because of its ‘incompatibility’. I am a man who purchases my tweaks, and did this one too, but if the dev renders it unavailable, I’d be okay with pirating. Perhaps shoot him over a donation if you grab it.

This is very cool. But I’m trying to minimalise tweaks on my i4. It’s getting old really fast and can’t keep up with the new tweaks being made for a5+

  • Very useful tweak..

  • when opening link for different store the springboard is stucked with “Loading..” and I cannot even access SBSettings to respring so I need to restart phone by power+home button combination…
hope update will bring solution for this
