Ah, the obligatory boot up test comparing previous generation hardware with brand new hardware is here. This time around we’re comparing the new iPod touch 5th generation with the outgoing iPod touch 4th generation.

    Well it was rather obvious which one was going to win. the A4 chip is a very old and slow chip compared to the A5 which we find in the 4s.

    At first look (without really noticing this post’s title) you’d think the 5th Gen iPod Touch was the iPhone 5.

    Yeah, the 4th gen iPod Touch used an LCD, where the iPhone 4 used IPS. The 5th gen iPod Touch probably has an IPS display aswell.
