Geohot Interviewed Again Over Sony Lawsuit

In case you've been too busy playing on your PS3, renowned iPhone hacker George "Geohot" Hotz is in the middle of a heated lawsuit with Sony. Geohot "jailbroke" the Sony PS3 and circumvented Sony's DRM. The ramification of his exploit is that Sony is now suing Geohot for "encouraging piracy" on their platform.

Geohot has done another interview on The Alyona Show in which he addresses the issues with the Sony debate and clarifies his stance on the subject. Check out the video after the break.

AT&T Sued for Overcharging iPhone and iPad Owners

A lawsuit was filed in California against AT&T on the grounds that the company overcharges its iPhone and iPad customers by inflating the amount of data used and by adding "phantom traffic".

The plaintiff's attorney hired a firm to track his data usage. Their findings were quite astounding. The research firm found out that AT&T overstated incoming data by 7 to 14% in what they called "a rigged gas pump that charges for a full gallon when it pumps only nine-tenths of a gallon into your car's tank"...

Apple Hit With Yet Another Class Action Lawsuit, This Time Over the iPhone 4’s Glass

Another day, another frivolous lawsuit originating out of California. This time, the plaintiff is L.A. County resident Donald LeBuhn, who filed the lawsuit in earlier in the week.

This certainly isn't the first class action suit that's been filed against Apple recently, but it probably tops the list as being the most ridiculous.

In the suit, LeBuhn claims that Apple hid the fact that day-to-day use of the iPhone 4 would eventually lead to cracked glass.

Well, if normal day-to-day use entails dropping your iPhone on concrete surfaces, you might just be right...

The iPad is Hot. Literally!

Bloomberg reports Apple is being sued over claims that the iPad overheats in sunlight or warm conditions.

The complaint, filed July 23 in federal court in Oakland, California, seeks unspecified damages and class action, or group, status. It claims the iPad “does not live up to the reasonable consumer’s expectations created by Apple” because it “overheats so quickly under common weather conditions.”

Who would have thought leaving your iPad in your car on a sunny 90-degrees California day would make it overheat? Well, just about anyone with an ounce of good sense. Next lawsuit, please!
