After an iOS 8.4.1 jailbreak, an iOS 9.3.5 jailbreak, and an untether for the iOS 9.1-9.3.4 Home Depot jailbreak, tihmstar has now turned his attention to a mobile browser-based jailbreak for 32-bit devices.

First things first: do not rush off and install this untether on your devices. It could easily boot loop them. This isn't a general warning to be ignored; the tool does not support most devices yet, and I will not be held responsible for any damage done by it.
Having said that, let's have a gander at this new release, the first jailbreak untether that we've seen in quite some time.
Today saw the release of an updated version of jk9357’s 32-bit jailbreak tool for iOS 9. The jailbreak, which is named Home Depot, was first released several weeks ago with support for a smattering of devices on various firmwares, and we wrote a piece about its launch at the time.
The updated version is labelled Release Candidate 1, indicating its increasing compatibility and proximity to a final iteration.
Update: RC 1 had an issue that would cause Cydia to fail to install. All users please download RC 2 instead.
As some of you may have seen from my tweet yesterday, there is some exciting news afoot for owners of 32-bit devices on iOS 9.
A group of developers including alitek12, ee_csw and Trevor Schmitt have stated that they are working on a downgrade solution which will allow users of legacy devices to escape from iOS 9.3.5 and return to a jailbreakable iOS 9 firmware.
Those of you who have jailbroken in recent times, with either yalu1011, yalu102, Home Depot, or Pangu 9.2-9.3.3, can't have failed to notice a new feature of these tools which jailbreakers never had to contend with before.
I'm not referring to the semi-untether here, but rather to the installing of a profile on your device which signs the jailbreak app for a certain amount of time. iOS 10 jailbreakers particularly have felt the irritation of this limitation, but all that may be about to change, based on some tentative words from Cydia creator Jay Freeman (Saurik).
At the same time, other workarounds for the seven-day signing limit have started surfacing; these are almost all a bad idea, and should be avoided.
