Christmas wallpaper pack for iPhone

It’s the last week of December, and it only makes sense to provide you with a pack of Christmas-inspired wallpapers for all of your iPhone devices. The following pack is the handiwork of @AR72014, an iDB wallpaper favorite designer. We have plenty of his creations scattered throughout the Wallpapers of the Week category. Below you’ll find bokeh Christmas lights and snowy cartoon scenes.

Grid and blueprint wallpapers for iPhone

For a long time, blueprint wallpapers were popular on earlier iPhone devices. However, the precision required to make a blueprint style wallpaper prevented an iPhone X version from surfacing for some time. Earlier I was asked on Twitter if I found any and the search began. I am happy to report, there is a complete stash of blueprint, grid, and outline styled wallpapers for you to download.

Colorful abstract iPhone wallpapers in a sea of black

Today's selection is an update to a previously posted collection by @danielkorpai, a graphic designer. I have been using his full color geometric wallpapers on my devices since we posted them a while back.

In order to really make the abstracts pop with color, Korpai went back to the same collection and put the designs on a completely black background. Consequently, these wallpapers look amazing on the iPhone X's OLED panel, but these are made for all iPhone devices!

Dark geometric wallpapers pack

Our Wallpapers of the Week curated collection highlights the best, photo quality images we can find. Over time, geometric based wallpapers have been downloaded as the top category in our feed, second only to Apple event designs or commercial imagery. Today, we are featuring creative work by STRV, a mobile development startup. Below, find five of their original creations, completely blacked out for your new OLED iPhone or any previous model.

Minimal gradient wallpapers to hide the iPhone notch

There has been a lot of controversy over the iPhone X notch. Personally, I don't care about the notch. The complaints and derision for the notch are completely blown out of proportion. Naturally, this is my opinion and plenty of people still intend to make a mountain of a mole hill, but I digress. If you are one of those people who need the notch gone, here is a set of minimal gradient wallpapers.

Naturescape wallpapers pack

Each Sunday, the Wallpapers of the Week collection strives to bring you incredible, photo-quality images for your iOS devices. These posts are made possible by gathering reader submissions, stumbling across great content on the web, and closely watching what comes across on social media. This week we highlight a very talented iDB reader who submitted an original photography set of ten iPhone wallpapers.

Wallpapers of the week: mountains

The craze of iPhone X launch day excitement is now behind us. Hopefully, you were able to get your device to activate in time to enjoy it on the same day. With the device now in the wild, I decided it would be a good time to get back to themed Wallpapers of the Week, instead of just throwing random iPhone X wallpapers against the wall--but I hope you enjoyed the iPhone X wallpaper packs! Getting back to the themes, I'm restarting with a crowd favorite: mountains.

iPhone X Wallpaper pack 4

Pre-orders for iPhone X are now in the record books! If you did not manage to reserve one in the first 5-10 minutes, shipping times were delayed by 3 weeks. In 15 minutes after opening, times slipped all the way to 5 or 6 weeks out, giving a December 15ish delivery date.

For the lucky few who managed to get a pre-order delivery of November 3 or those looking to campout on launch day, prepare your wallpaper arsenal for the shiny new OLED display. Download our four iDownloadBlog wallpaper packs.

Wallpapers of the Week: fluid colors

As we spiral toward the iPhone X pre-order date later this week, there is no shortage of amazingly colorful wallpapers to take advantage of the new OLED 5.8" screen. Make sure to set you alarms for Friday morning at 12:01AM Pacific Time, if you are going to have a chance at the pre-order quantity of 3M units. In the meantime, continue to stock pile a folder of wallpapers for your new device.

iPhone X marketing video wallpapers

The best feature of iPhone X will be the Super Retina OLED Display. If you want a sneak peak, just go to your local Best Buy and checkout an LG OLED UHD TV and then imagine it being shrunk to 5.8" and in your pocket. It will be incredible.

Now, imagine that fancy new display, with a bunch of vibrant colors on your Lock and Home screens. Apple is thinking the same thing and their marketing videos prove it. Since the iPhone X announcement video, you have been contacting me to see when we would get a version for download. Look no further.

Wallpapers of the Week: abstract shapes and colors

The Wallpapers of the Week section is full of different types of images and we try to post them in specific categories or themes. However, sometimes, I end up with a bunch of random wallpapers from reader submissions that are amazing, but do not fit nicely into a specific category. Today, I wanted to throw out a little smorgasbord of downloads for your viewing pleasure. You will find a mismatched collection of images, where the only similarity is their beautiful abstract shape and colors.
