iPhone Xs starts at $999, Xs Max at $1,099, pre-orders start September 14

Well the good news is Apple SVP Phil Schiller just announced that you can pre-order both handsets beginning this Friday, with a starting price of $999 for the iPhone Xs and $1099 for the iPhone Xs Max.

Apple unveils iPhone Xs Max with 6.5-inch OLED Super Retina display

Among the new products Apple has announced at its Gather Round event this morning is the iPhone Xs Max. As the rumor mill predicted, this new handset features a 6.5-inch OLED panel, which Apple has branded a Super Retina display. It features a resolution of 458 ppi, 1-million-to-1 contrast ration, and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10.
