Apple has posted various videos show during today's iPhone Xs event to its YouTube channel. These include promo clips for the iPhone Xs, Xs Max and XR, as well as Apple Watch Series 4. Of course, you can always go back and re-watch the event in its entirety, but for the folks who want to just get to the mean of the big announcements, these videos are a great starting point.
So now that you've heard all about the iPhone Xs and Xs Max, your next two questions are probably: how much will it cost? and when/where can I get it. Well the good news is Apple SVP Phil Schiller just announced that you can pre-order both handsets beginning this Friday, with a starting price of $999 for the iPhone Xs and $1099 for the iPhone Xs Max.
In addition to the new iPhone Xs and Xs Max models, Apple on Wednesday announced the new iPhone XR. It features a 6.1-inch LCD (not OLED like the Xs and Xs Max) panel that Apple has branded a Liquid Retina display, with 1.4 million pixels and a resolution of 1792x828 (326 ppi).
Among the new products Apple has announced at its Gather Round event this morning is the iPhone Xs Max. As the rumor mill predicted, this new handset features a 6.5-inch OLED panel, which Apple has branded a Super Retina display. It features a resolution of 458 ppi, 1-million-to-1 contrast ration, and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10.
Great news for folks who have built up a collection of Apple Watch bands and straps. Apple COO Jeff Williams just confirmed that they will all fit the new Series 4 models.
