The Tesla Model Y has been the best-selling vehicle of any kind for the past three years. The new Model Y L (L for Long or Long Wheelbase) is a slightly bigger version with 6 seats in a 2-2-2 configuration. The second row has captain’s chairs with a gap in the middle to go to the back seats. Although the Model Y L resembles the Model Y at first glance, if you’re a Tesla fan, you’ll appreciate the subtle design differences that make the larger variant stand out. Model Y L wallpapers
Y L is +17.9 cm longer and 4.4 cm taller than Model Y. It also has more range and comes in just one All Wheel Drive (AWD) drivetrain. In comparison, the Model Y gives you 5 options to choose from: Standard (AWD, RWD), Premium (AWD, RWD), and Performance (AWD).
As of writing, Model Y L is not available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, or the rest of Europe.
Manufactured at Giga Shanghai, it first launched in China last year, and since then, it has been available in a dozen more markets:

- Philippines
- Hong Kong
- Macau

- Singapore
- Israel
Hopefully, it will be available in the USA and Europe once production starts at Tesla’s Fremont Factory and Giga Berlin.
As for the interiors, the Model Y L has the same minimalist look you expect from a Tesla. And, of course, like all other Teslas, the new Model Y L is one of the safest cars on the road, with a 5-star ANCAP safety rating.
