As we move into WWDC 2026, rumors continue to swirl that Liquid Glass will be adjusted in appearance. After a public outcry since iOS 26 dropped to GA in September 2025, the world has been frustrated by transparency issues, legibility concerns, and animation overload. Despite this, the wallpaper community continued to embrace the Liquid Glass appearance. Further celebrating that experience, today’s iDB Wallpapers of the Week gradient glass flower petal wallpapers lean further into the Liquid Glass experience.
Glass flower petal wallpapers for iPhone
Offered by @just_unique0 on X, the account regularly posts popular iPhone sized wallpaper images. Give it a follow for daily downloads. I stumbled across this set a few weeks ago and continued coming back to it.
The collection of four flower petal wallpapers for iPhone hit multiple genres at once. As described, the collection calls into play the transparency and glossy nature of the iOS 26 Liquid Glass effects. See through experience in that design language, pulls the gradient backgrounds into the glass-like flower petals. Overlapping petals in the wallpaper show as a darker hue and gradient, the same as over lapping glass panels of similar color.
Symmetrical designs also please the eye, with the half side radial in this petal design showcasing just enough of the flower. Placed on minimal color backgrounds, the overall experience is a single color, that is simply layered or gradient faded. Cool blues and greens give the design a calming look, while the dark pink option is a little more emotionally provocative.
My favorite of the collection is pictured first, a rich blue to sky blue colorway is the most elegant.
