Apple’s introduction of the Liquid Glass software design language has led to a rise in glassy skins from other Android phone makers. Designers and digital artists have also jumped abroad, launching translucent app icons, app menus, and of course, wallpapers. Seemingly inspired by that, today’s wallpaper collection features three glassy digital wallpapers showing one half of a butterfly. Try these on your iPhone or Android phone Lock Screen and Home Screen, and let us know what you think!

These wallpapers are the work of ᴀɴ ᴡᴀʟʟᴘᴀᴘᴇʀꜱ 𝕩 who goes by @aan__x on X (Twitter). We previously featured their work in our dual-tone sphere wallpaper collection (it’s gorgeous, check it out). After that, consider going through aan__x’s X and Telegram profiles for many more backdrops for your smartphone.
Out of the three options here, the gray one is my favorite. It shows the robotic side of the glass wallpaper perfectly, and complements the Lock Screen clock and widgets just the way I like. Download all three and share in the comments which one you like best.
We publish two new wallpaper collections every week. If you’d like to regularly spice up your iPhone Lock Screen, download our free iOS app and enable notifications. This way, you can get notified of new wallpaper posts and daily Apple tutorials.
