PurePKG v1.5 released by lrdsnow.

Over the weekend, PurePKG received another important update, this time to version 1.5 with some significant improvements. The latest build, announced in a post shared to X by lrdsnow, contains the following changes:

  • A full UI re-write
  • Enhanced app performance
  • Lots of new UI settings
  • Several bug fixes and improvements

As you can probably ascertain from the change log, PurePKG is a big performance-boosting update with a lot of attention being placed on the user interface. Not only is it more performant, but you can customize it in more ways than ever.

PurePKG updated to version 1.5.

In the screenshot examples above, you can see some of the global settings as well as the Tab Bar settings that are available in this update to tweak the UI outside of the stock parameters.

If you’re an existing PurePKG user, then you can download and install the latest build from your preferred package manager app via the PurePKG repository, or you can download it from the project’s GitHub page.

New or prospective users can get PurePKG from exactly the same sources mentioned above, but since those thinking about trying PurePKG probably don’t have the repository added in their existing package manager app yet, we’ve included the URL for that below:
