Misaka updated to v3.3.7 with preliminary dylib injection support & more bug fixes

The Misaka package manager app received another update on Friday, this time bringing it up to version 3.3.7.

Misaka v3.3.7 announced via X.

Project lead developer @straight_tamago announced the updated version of Misaka via a post shared to X (formerly Twitter) Friday afternoon, and according to the change log, it introduces the following changes:

– Support dylib injection
– Some bug fixes

The first and perhaps most significant change in this update is the newfangled support for dylib injection, which gives users the ability to inject tweaks into certain processes — namely apps. This comes in addition to bug fixes.

Existing Misaka users can simply install the latest version of the app over their existing installation to take advantage of the latest changes. You can do this with Sideloadly or TrollStore, depending on your version of iOS or iPadOS.

If you’re not already taking advantage of Misaka, then you should install the latest version to start out. This ensures you get the best user experience right out of the box.

Misaka allows users to install add-ons that utilize the MacDirtyCow exploit for iOS & iPadOS 15.0-16.1.2 and the kfdexploit for iOS & iPadOS 16.0-16.6 beta 1. You can also install JavaScript add-ons on any firmware or install TrollStore with it.

A jailbreak isn’t required to use Misaka, but you can use it if you are jailbroken. Most add-ons will work interoperably with jailbreak tweaks as long as the functions don’t conflict with one another.
