ElleKit updated to version 1.1 with bug fixes & improvements

If you’re a user of the Dopamine or palera1n rootless jailbreaks for iOS or iPadOS 15.0-15.4.1, then you might want to pay attention to this.

ElleKit v1.1.

The primary tweak injection method for these jailbreak tools, known as ElleKit, was updated to version 1.1 Friday evening with an extensive list of changes that will benefit users for the foreseeable future.

ElleKit v1.1 announced.

Project developer @eveiyneee shared the news of the updated software via X (formerly Twitter) with a change log. Here’s what’s new:

Changes:
– Fixes AppSync Unified on Dopamine
– Fixes cbz rebinds
– Fixes objc_msgSend hooks
– Adds mobiletimerd to the palera1n filter
– Adds a new hook technique
– and more… I forgot over the 6 months I’ve been doing this

Because ElleKit is such an important piece of software for those who use any of the supported jailbreaks mentioned above, it’s highly recommended that users update as soon as they’re able. It’s as simple as opening the Sileo or Zebra package manager app on your device and refreshing your sources.

If you’re a RootHide user, then you should wait before installing ElleKit version 1.1. The RootHide team has warned that they are working to port ElleKit version 1.1 to RootHide and that installing the current version will break your jailbreak.

Having said that, if you rely on RootHide, you should wait for the RootHide team to release an updated version of ElleKit and avoid installing the mainstream build. To clarify, regular Dopamine and palera1n jailbreak users can install the mainstream ElleKit version 1.1 safely without any such issues – issues are currently only related to the jailbreak detection bypass.

We should also note that this is likely the very last update to ElleKit. In a separate set of Tweets shared earlier in the week, @eveiyneee said that they were taking a break from jailbreaking and that this would likely be the last software they release. That said, ElleKit has reached full maturity:
