Since the introduction of OLED screen technology with the iPhone X, having a true black wallpaper really sets apart the visual appeal of your wallpaper. Of course, these images look incredible on non-OLED displays, but iPhone X and iPhone XS devices have the ability to turn off the part of the screen that contains a true black image. This causes the colorful part of the image to really pop against the black contrast.

Today’s selection comes from an iDB regular, @AR72014, with whom we created a dedicated gallery on our site. The following images take full advantage of the advanced screens on the iPhone X and iPhone XS. The rich colors even appear to fade-in, when turning on your Lock screen.
