Sprint on-contract subscribers that are hoping to get themselves or someone special an iPhone for the holidays might be in luck. It seems as though the carrier is offering some of its customers the opportunity to upgrade early.

It looks like if you are still under contract with the carrier, and your account is in good standings, Sprint will offer you the chance to upgrade to a smartphone at the 2-year contract price. This applies to all handsets models, including the iPhone.
The offer isn’t being advertised, but judging by the leaked documentation, it’s legit. If you’re under contract with the carrier, and are looking to snag a new iPhone, you might try visiting your local Sprint store. But hurry, the offer ends December 31st.
