VoiceMan is Your Weapon Against Minute Overage Charges on the iPhone [Review and Giveaway]

From the same team that brought us DataMan, VoiceMan is your tool against minute overage charges on the iPhone. Have you ever wondered why carriers don’t send alerts for minute overages?

You don’t have to worry about exceeding your monthly allotment of minutes any more, thanks to VoiceMain. Managing your mobile minutes was never such an easy task…

If you’ve read our review of DataMan, then you’ll have a good idea of how VoiceMain works. Like DataMan, VoiceMain features a clean and minimalistic UI.

The power of VoiceMain lies in its ability to send you real-time automated usage alerts. VoiceMain gets its usage statistics from the internal iOS phone system, so the results are always up to date. The app also works on all carriers and geotags your calls for your own reference.

To get started in VoiceMain, you’ll need to set your billing date and enter in your voice plan’s monthly allotment. You can then set your alert thresholds (50%, 70%, 90%, etc.) and enable push notifications and geo-tracking. Geotagging your calls is a helpful tool because it lets you see when and where certain calls were made on a map.

What’s great about VoiceMain is that it’s simple, and it really does help save you money on overage charges. If you exceed a threshold, you will be immediately notified via a push notification after you end the call.

The app tracks your usage on a daily, weekly and monthly cycle, and complies your usage results in real-time. Overall, VoiceMan is a slick app for iPhone users that need a way to keep track of their minutes.

VoiceMain is available for the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 only. The app can be downloaded for $3.99 in the App Store.
