How big is the buzz around Apple’s forthcoming iPhone?
That’s what Fortune is trying to find out today by searching for “3G iPhone” on Google Trends.
You can notice that the rise in interest gets higher as Steve Jobs’ June 9 keynote approaches. You can also notice the fall-off in “News reference volume” in the bottom graph. Although interest continues to grow for the new iPhone, it seems that the tech press may have developed a case of 3G fatigue. It is totally understandable. The only writing we can find about the 3G iPhone are just rumors and speculations. I can understand journalists are getting tired of it…
