Feral Interactive releases first gameplay video for Tropico for iPad

Tropico for iPad

We’re learning more about one of this year’s most anticipated new iPad games. A gameplay video showing Tropico on Apple’s tablet has finally arrived. The retro city-building game, first teased in June, is launching before the end of the year.

Fully tailored to and optimized for the tablet, the often=played game from yesteryear, Tropico, offers intuitive touch controls and an easy-to-navigate user interface. Though this, you can issue edicts, erect monuments, develop your land, and more as the game’s sometimes popular, sometimes dangerous, dictator.

Take a look:

As someone who played this game years ago on my trusted iBook, I can’t wait to see how it transfers on to iPad. So far, it looks awesome, no?

Once only found on PC and Mac, Tropico eventually made its way to gaming consoles in the early part of this century. Thanks to its success, expansion packs and sequels followed, including Tropico 2: Pirate Cove, Tropico 3, Tropico 4, and Tropico 5. This year, Tropic 6 is expected to launch.

Tropico for iPad is likely to launch this Fall from Feral Interactive.
