Apple has taken down its online Apple Store, hours ahead of the “Spring Forward” event happening on Monday.

The Cupertino-based company has posted the text: “We’ll be back. We’re busy updating the Apple Store for you and will be back soon.”

This implies new products will be offered on the online store following the event. Since the Apple Watch won’t be available to purchase until April, it’s probably a new MacBook Air.

iDownloadBlog will be covering the latest out of the event from our homepage. Things kick-off at 1PM EST, 10AM PST – so stick around for the latest.

Are you excited yet?

Does this deserve its own post? Post some good stuff.

    • Jason Baroni

Yes. I was about buy an iPod now, they saved my time.

      • Andres

        What’s an iPod lol

      • Jason Baroni

It’s more than a thousand songs in your pocket

I’ve questioned some of the quality of the articles written by Jake…but I’m not 100% certain this is news worthy mate, care to explain how it is??

    • vivalaivsca

lol. its Watch day, and Jake’s writing on the online store which receives updates all the time.

News worthy to me. My girl brought a Macbook Air and we’ve been debating if she should take it back if new Macbook Air’s popup, and this kind of seals the deal for us and hitting the Apple store today for the return.

Point being: it’s worth the post.

  • Hope it means some new iPods. Am I the only one that still uses one?

  • Merman123

It’s ridiculous. People complaining about these posts. It only happens on keynote days. Is it so hard to scroll past the article and ignore it ? Geez. People can be some entitled A holes.

    • John

I’m waiting for the post from Jake telling me that the sky is blue or that the sun rises in the east.

As you say, it happens EVERY keynote.
      It’s expected.
This does nothing more then increase the post count for Jake.

      • Merman123

And what does your post accomplish? 🙂

      • John

I am not paid to “write” articles for a website dude, that’s the difference.

      • Merman123

Wait so, are you writing the checks? Or what’s the big deal…

      • Josh

I find most of his articles poor and college-level written. But that’s just my and some colleagues opinion.

  • They always take the store down, doesn’t always mean new products. Usually means they want everyone to focus on the keynote itself. Though I’m still holding out that they release something other then the apple watch today. Can’t see them spending over an hour on just that when we know a lot already about the device. But if they spend 35 minutes on it, 25 on macbook, 20 on appletv and do a one more thing about ipad pro coming later this year then we’ve got a show!

I kinda of wish Apple would have kept all the details about the watch silent. I’m not super excited just a little excited.

  • John

Jake, is the store back up yet?
