Surenix winter wallpaper splash

‘Tis the season to be merry! Getting back on track with seasonally appropriate images for the Wallpapers of the Week section, today the walls are festively natured. Considering the new iOS 7 layered interface allows translucent viewing through the operating system, changing your wallpaper affects many places throughout iPhone.

From the passcode screen and dialer buttons, to Notification Center and sub-menu screens, the wallpapers shine through. If you are looking to make sure your whole iPhone is candy cane red, we have the perfect wallpaper for your holiday season…

Today, the two images are submitted by @Surenix, who has been featured many times on iDB for different reasons, whether for work as a jailbreak graphic designer or event wallpapers. Surenix, if you did not know, also designed our own iDownloadBlog logos and images for the Let’s Talk Jailbreak and Let’s Talk iOS podcasts.

He gets around the image block, so to speak, but designs wallpapers less frequently. This week he produced and submitted the following images for the Wallpapers of the Week section. First, you will find a well tailored Gingerbread man, which is an excellent Lock screen image. Second, the Candy Cane wallpaper is festive with white, red, and green patterns. Thanks to Surenix for making this available for all iOS devices, which will please many of our readers.

Make sure to keep up with him by following his tweets @Surenix and visit his personal website, which lists other wallpapers and a jailbreak gallery.

I can do a lot in Photoshop. If I created a Christmas themed one for Mac, iPad, and iPhone, would you most likely use it?
2nd, where can I find dimensions for parallax support?

  • Prasoon Singh

    Definitely like the first one!

  • Sway

The Gingerbread wallpaper goes well with the Coffee Diary theme (if anyone has that) other than I don’t think I’d use these ever.

  • leart

    Very ugly

  • Merman123

I’m sure my grandma would love these on her iPhone 5s…….

  • Ziggy

    Really? Too girly

    • Jonathan

There are girls who read iDB…

  • ✪ aidan harris ✪

Oh the irony of giving an iOS wallpaper the same name as an Android operating system…

    • Ying Zheng

lol… good to see reactions when you tell friends that you’ve got Gingerbread on your iOS… 😉

  • Damian W

    just horrible

  • Jeremy

freeios7 (.) com has better parallax wallpapers.

    • Jonathan

Thank you. I found my new Christmas wallpaper. 🙂

  • jack

    too gay for me, thanks

  • Brandon Higgins

What a bunch of grinches. Many of us are still into CHRISTmas.

    • Osiris

It’s not about being into Christmas. It’s more to do with suitability. Honestly, I don’t dislike these. I kinda like looking at them (in a screensaver type of way and not for long or consistent periods of time) but I don’t think I’d want them on my phone.

  • El Arqui Tecto

    Definitely gay

These wallpapers actually don’t look too bad. All those people who are saying that they need a more manly wallpaper should have a pen1s as a wallpaper.
