Knober Featured

Knober is a recently released tweak that allows you to perform specific actions using a swipe gesture on the slide to unlock bar. By swiping right, and then left without releasing the Lock screen knob, you can perform one of the tweak’s seven built in toggles. Take a look at our full video walkthrough inside for more details on Knober…

As stated, Knober includes support for seven different actions. The actions include flashlight, Wi-Fi, Airplane mode, Bluetooth, Orientation lock, Play/Pause, and Cellular data. I found that the gesture, which is best understood while watching the video embedded above, is quick, smooth, and precise. I especially like the ability to toggle my flashlight on or off using a quick swipe gesture on the Lock screen.

If you want to give Knober a go, then head over to Cydia’s ModMyi repo where it can be had for $0.99. Let me know what you think about Knober in the comments below.

Yet none of them can do as simple thing as to enable Bluetooth and Personal Hotspot simultaneously :-(

Hey Jeff, how do you record your videos? Looks cool.

Yeah it looks awesome, the circle thing that appears on the screen when he taps it is called TouchPosé+ which is on Cydia and for recording, I’ve heard he uses an app called Reflector which mirrors your idevice to your mac.

No, you don’t understand what fl0manel said. And answer for his question is: Display Recorder from Bigboss by Ryan Petrich

Who in there right mind would call an app Knober?

Would does it do… Slip N Slide, Toggle performance action. Err… The names sucks. Knobhead. :P

Hello, I am the developer. I do not know what Knober means in other languages. I selected that name because apple has called the slide-to-unlock slider KNOB. So that why I added a simple -er in the end :)
