‘LastPic’ released on Cydia

LastPic

LastPic, the jailbreak tweak that allows you to attach the last taken photograph into an iMessage conversation, has been released on Cydia. The tweak, which we discussed on Monday, is an iMessage implementation of a feature that has been a staple in the popular Tweetbot Twitter client.

LastPic is a free download, and it’s available on Cydia’s BigBoss repo right now. For those of you browsing this post on an iOS device, you can click here to be taken directly to Cydia for the download.

If you decide to give a shot, then let us know what you think about it in the comments section.

Its ok, but not necessary. Then again, its little tweaks like this one that make the iPhone just a little better.

  • Isa Altintas

Actually this is pretty unusefull. You take a bunch of pictures, then decide to send one via iMessage and accidentally hit Use Last Photo Taken instead of Take Photo or Video/Choose Existing and you lose time. Nowdays everyone uses Whatsapp where you don’t need that option.
Major props for Filippo Bigarella’s awesomeness.

Everyone uses what’s app ..erm …no.. I’ve had it for over 2 years and I’ve used it once..

      • Isa Altintas

You do you even have an iphone??

        ??
I think you mean do I have a iPhone .. You are having a laugh ain’t you..
I get unlimited text messages to any network, so why do I need this app..?

Wtf is up with discus.. I replyed and I get this..

I get unlimited texts too, however, not everyone I talk to does, so WhatsApp fixes that. You may not use it so much, but millions others do.

        I replyed to the
“Now days everyone uses what’s app ”
There was no mention of millions use it , millions doesn’mean everyone..

See, that’s where quotation marks come into use, it avoids mistakes like this.
You’re right, millions doesn’t mean everyone, it does, however, mean that it would be a viable tweak.

        I’am not talking
about the tweak. I was talking about the bold statement that everyone uses what’s app..

I actually thought about something. With Apple adding small features little by little, obviously you can’t add too many features before the iOS becomes bloated. This is why it is important to give the developers more freedom in developing modifications. For example, this tweak is not useful for me, but for someone it is. If Apple were to integrate this tweak into iOS, it might not be useful for a lot of people, but for some it might be. Now if Apple gave developers more access to low level iOS stuff, while still regulating it, it would be a win for everyone. The users would add a modification if they want to, the stock iOS won’t be bloated with features that some users won’t use, and it would be more open like Android.

EXACTLY, if you want, you can have, and if you don’t want, you don’t have to. That would be SO great to see in stock iOS!

Doesn’t work with BiteSMS. Must only work with the stock message app only.

  • Eric Morgan

Not working on iPad 2 for me. Great on iPhone 5. Is this iPhone only?
