Though many of us, including myself, would love to see Apple credit the jailbreaking community for providing some innovation for the iOS, it would be considered almost a tactic of defeat by Apple.

You provide credit to jailbreaking, then it shows Apple, which continually tries to stop jailbreaks for iOS devies, no longer cares if you jailbreak or not. Such a move would not be acceptable to many key figures in Apple.

As a result, we will never see them (or rarely see them) credit such things to the jailbreaking community.
