This is INSANE. Great job Apple!

  • I wonder how many apps are on Android Market…

    • Jon Garrett

319,000 as of Oct 2011 according to Wikipedia. to be honest with you, Id like to see an app store with say 10,000 apps but all high quality apps.

both app stores have mostly games and neither app store tells you which percentage of their apps are “quality” apps.

both app stores have useless apps like. beer apps, fart apps and even wall paper apps !!! seriously, a wall paper app?!?!

the best thing about the Android Market is that if you dont like an app, you can get a refund because you have a 15 min trail period. AND the Android Market as a much much higher percentage of “FREEmium” apps. quality apps that are FREE.

the best thing about the Apple App Store is that while its better organized, I still have ZERO problems finding apps in the Android Market Place. AND the App Store has better and more useful user reviews. and of course better policing.

what is the problem of using wallpaper apps? i myself like a lot to change background almost daily!

      • Dan

same here. some people just like to bitch for no reason

      • Jon Garrett

because you dont need an app to change wall papers. my comment was about quality vs quantity. if you like wall paper apps then by all means, get as many as you can.

      • You sir, are very, very, very, but very effing stupid. You whine more then my pregnant wife.

I cant think of how many refunds i have gotten from the android market buying useless apps.

      • Jon Garrett

At least you got a refund. what happens when you buy a useless app from the App Store? Also most apps in the Android Market have videos attached so you can also see the app i action before you by.
