Apple today released the iOS 12.1.4 update with an emergency fix for the embarrassing bug in the group FaceTime feature that enabled anyone to eavesdrop on private conversations.
It wasn’t too long ago that hacker and unc0ver lead developer Pwn20wnd released unc0ver v2.2.6 to the masses and dropped subsequent revisions to the unc0ver v3.0.0 pre-release for public testing, but Pwn20wnd is known for being quite the active developer and he appears to have revised the pre-release again since our last coverage with additional micro-updates.
According to the changelog published at Pwn20wnd’s official GitHub repository, betas 18 and 19 of the unc0ver v3.0.0 pre-release comprise of the ensuing changes:

Another update released Tuesday by the Electra Team should make pwning iOS 11 easier with the Electra jailbreak tool. Electra version 1.3.1 introduces some much-needed success rate improvements for A7 to A8(X) devices (4K), expectantly reducing the number of times that you’d need to tap “Jailbreak” in the app to complete the process.

The hacker notes that there are some significant asterisks here to consider before jumping onboard. Much like rootlessJB 3.0, unc0ver’s preliminary iOS 12 support does not comprise of Cydia or Cydia Substrate as certain jailbreak patches aren’t yet functional.
Hacker and unc0ver lead developer Pwn20wnd pushed a small update to the iOS 11-centric unc0ver jailbreak tool over the weekend, bringing its version number up to 2.2.5.
Citing the changelog on Pwn20wnd’s official GitHub repository, v2.2.5 is a minor update that includes improvements to the jailbreak tool’s built-in diagnostics. More specifically, they now include the log file, a useful thing to have when troubleshooting jailbreak errors:
