Ever wished you could delete individual phone calls from your call logs on your iPhone? If so, Call Delete is the app for you. Up until now, you could only delete none or all of the missed or placed phone calls from your iPhone, but Call Delete is going to change that by giving you a little more freedom.

Just like you would guess, Call Delete lets you delete specific phone calls from your iPhone logs. If you recently called your ex and you don't want your new girlfriend to find out, this is going to do the trick...

DietBar Makes Your iPhone Navigation Bar Thinner

New App Lets You Add a Signature to Your Text Messages

SMS Signature is a new application available for jailbroken iPhones that will allow you to, as you probably figured out, add a custom signature to text messages sent from your iPhone.

After downloading the application from Cydia, you can use the Settings app to configure SMS Signature. From there, you can create and activate a custom text signature. From now on, every time you send a text message, the signature will automatically be appended to it...

Last week we told you about an upcoming jailbreak app called SlideAway which seemed like a promising way to enhance your iPhone lockscreen. The app is now live and available to download from Cydia.

SlideAway brings substance to your iPhone's lockscreen, allowing you to access the apps you use the most without having to unlock the device. Though the iPhone's virtual keyboard has been named one of the best in the business, it still lacks a fairly major feature: haptic feedback. The little vibration that lets you know a key has been pressed is on nearly every other touchscreen smartphone on the market, but not the iPhone.

UnFolder – Delete Entire Folders with a Single Tap

Getting rid of a folder can be quite time consuming, depending on how many applications it contains. If there are just 2 or 3 apps then it isn't that bad, but 5 or more can get pretty tedious.

That's because to delete a folder, you must first drag every application from the folder back to the home screen. After the last app is removed, the folder deletes itself. A new utility is coming to Cydia though, that could change all of that...

In a surprising move, Peter Hajas has released his last version of the popular iOS notifications jailbreak replacement, MobileNotifier. We covered another blog post of Peter's yesterday, in which he declared that he was leaving as the head of the development team for MobileNotifier.

Right after we reviewed Beta4, MobileNotifier Beta5 "Ecstatic Eggo" has now been released in Cydia. And Peter is calling Beta5 the most "revolutionary release since the project's inception."

Could the Developer of MobileNotifier Be Working with Apple on Push Notifications?

MobileNotifier and Peter Hajas got a lot of attention on iDB yesterday. I reviewed MobileNotifier, a popular jailbreak replacement for notifications in iOS, and then we speculated that MobileNotifier's developer, Peter Hajas, could have recently been hired by Apple and taken out of the jailbreak community to work on push notifications in an upcoming version of iOS.

This theory was propelled by a tip we received from who we assume to be an Apple employee at Cupertino. Our tipster told us that working on notification replacements for iOS, like MobileNotifier, was "bad timing for jailbreak developers" and that Apple was about to "take the jailbreak community by surprise."

Directly following that tip, Peter Hajas announced on his blog that he was "taking a break" from developing for MobileNotifier to pursue "other opportunities." Sound suspicious to you too?

TidySpring is a new jailbreak application that brings easy springboard customization to your iPhone. The tweak is pretty simple and straightforward.

After installing the app from Cydia, you will have to go to the Settings app as TidySpring doesn't come with its own icon. From there, you will have loads of options to turn on and off in order to customize your springboard the way you want it. In the shadow of intuitive notification systems from Palm and other competitors, the iOS push notification system is certainly lacking. Luckily there are some great utilities for us jailbroken folks to change the look and feel of your iOS notifications.

Ever thought the glowy status bar that shows up when tethering your iPhone was kind of dull? Want to spice things up a bit? Then Tetherize may be for you, assuming you use the native tethering capability, and not a jailbreak app like MyWi or PDAnet.

Tetherize is a new jailbreak application that allows you to slightly customize the tethering status bar by adding text to it, or by stopping the glossy bar from glowing. That's all there is to this app so far, although the dev promises "loads of new styles coming up"...
