As promised, hacker and unc0ver lead developer Pwn20wnd has released the 40th beta of the unc0ver v3.0.0 pre-release for public testing Monday afternoon with support for all pre-A12(X) devices running iOS 12.0-12.1.2.
Pwn20wnd announced the revision via Twitter just a few minutes ago, adding that it bundles Cydia and an updated version of Cydia Substrate for all supported devices:

Good news for those of you waiting for an iOS 12 jailbreak on any 4K devices – hacker and unc0ver lead developer Pwn20wnd announced Monday morning that an update would be coming to the unc0ver jailbreak tool very soon.
In a Tweet shared by Pwn20wnd just this morning, we learn that Saurik has updated Cydia Substrate to resolve a bug that prevented full 4K device support initially, and we can also gather that unc0ver co-developer Sam Bingner has pushed important updates to many of the jailbreak’s dependencies that will make full 4K support possible:
Hacker and unc0ver lead developer Pwn20wnd pushed the 39th beta to the unc0ver v3.0.0 pre-release on Sunday for public testing with a whole truckload of bug fixes and improvements.
The update was announced this afternoon via Twitter, linking to Pwn20wnd’s official GitHub repository with a full changelog detailing what’s new in the update:
PsychoTea’s new machswap kernel exploit for A7-A11 devices running iOS 11.0-12.1.2 has been recognized as a seriously fast and reliable exploit for modern jailbreak tools. In fact, it’s much smoother than some of those that are already being used, such as v3ntex by tihmstar.
A Tweet shared over the weekend by hacker and unc0ver lead developer Pwn20wnd appears to praise the machswap exploit, and furthermore reveals that the hacker is actively implementing it into the unc0ver jailbreak tool:
The Sileo Team pushed another update for the Sileo beta preview on Friday, officially bringing the pre-release package manager’s version number up to 0.8b4.

Pwn20wnd began preparing 4K device support for the iOS 12-centric unc0ver jailbreak tool over the weekend, and while the bulk of that support seems to be complete, a few quirks stil remain.
With that in mind, Pwn20wnd has revised the unc0ver v3.0.0 pre-release Wednesday afternoon to beta version 37 with at least “partial” support for 4K devices:

Pwn20wnd broke the news about the new beta via Twitter just this afternoon, adding that it would greatly improve the reliability of the iOS 12 jailbreak:

Citing the changelog on the jailbreak tool’s GitHub repository, unc0ver v3.0.0 beta 33 encompasses the following changes:
02/25/2019 - v3.0.0~b34 was released for public testing with the following changes:
- Fix the root cause of the "Reload System Daemons" failures on iOS 12
- Add an apt lists cache file to ease load on repositories
As it would seem, today’s minor revision fixes a known error on jailbroken iOS 12 handsets and incorporates a cache file that should help reduce the strain on the repository servers. Consequently, repositories should load more quickly and with fewer errors after jailbreaking.
It should be noted that the unc0ver v3.0.0 pre-release is still a beta, and while it might be tempting to hop onboard right now, we’d strongly advise waiting for the official public release to prevent any possible bugs from manifesting and because not all devices are supported yet (this includes A7-A8 and A12 devices).
Those already jailbroken on iOS 12 with the unc0ver v3.0.0 pre-release are being advised to download and run this update as soon as possible to take full advantage of the new features and improvements.
The latest public release of the unc0ver jailbreak tool is v2.2.6 with support for iOS 11.0-11.4 beta 4 – the unc0ver v3.0.0 pre-release is the only iteration that supports iOS 11.4-11.4.1. Both versions of the unc0ver jailbreak tool can be had from Pwn20wnd’s official GitHub repository.
If you’re not already on a jailbreakable version of iOS 12, then be advised that iOS 12.1.1 beta 3 is still being signed, which means you can still downgrade to it via iTunes. You can use IPSW.me to check the signing status of any firmware version before attempting a downgrade via iTunes.
