iPhone 4S Magically Appears in Apple’s Database

It looks like the next iPhone could very well be called the iPhone 4S, according to a finding in Apple's internal inventory database. 9to5Mac reports that a 8GB iPhone 4 and the infamous 'N94' iPhone 4S have both been added to Apple's inventory system.

Besides the two iPhone models, findings also indicate that the three iPod touch capacities will be seeing international price drops. The N94 iPhone is assumedly the flagship device that Apple will unveil on Tuesday...

China Unicom Suggests Next iPhone Will Support HDSPA+ “4G” Technology

With Apple's iPhone event just 5 days away, everyone is trying to get in their last minute predictions. While it seems like pundits agree on most of the device's features, there is one detail that still remains a mystery — data connectivity.

Even though evidence surfaced last month that Apple was testing LTE-capable devices, it doesn't seem likely that the upcoming smartphone will house the technology. But that doesn't mean that the next iPhone won't be "4G..."

Beautiful Physical Mockup of the iPhone 5 Made with Real Aluminum

At this point, there are few things we know for sure about the iPhone 5. But what we can assume from the recent rumors and leaked info is that the device might very well be thinner, and sport a larger screen.

Confident that those rumored specs were likely to make it to the iPhone 5, MacRumors made some very convincing renderings of the future device awhile back. Today, German site Giga.de pushes it farther, with a physical mockup prototype of the iPhone 5...

T-Mobile Joins Verizon to Support Samsung Against Apple Litigation

Just like Verizon did last week, T-Mobile has submitted an amicus curiae to the court, officially siding with Samsung in its ongoing litigation against Apple. For the non-lawyers, an amicus curiae is when someone volunteers to offer information to assist a court in deciding on an issue.

T-Mobile's argument is similar to Verizon's. Both company don't want to see any of their best-selling 4G devices banned during the holiday season. Obviously, it would be a huge loss for the carriers, who generate a big chunk of revenue from this time of the year...

The Chinese police busted a gang responsible for a "sophisticated" counterfeit iPhone ring. They came across a group of individuals who purchased various parts in China, and assembled the fake iPhones in their apartment...

Facebook to Launch iPad App and Project Spartan Early Next Week

According to MG Siegler of TechCrunch, Facebook is set unveil its long awaited iPad app and Project Spartan, the HTML 5-based mobile platform the company has been working on for months, early next week.

We know the iPad app has been ready for a while – which was confirmed by a former Facebook employee – but it appears that Spartan has been ready for quite some time, too. But the company has apparently been working out the kinks with Apple. Better than that, Facebook may unveil these new products at Apple's iPhone 5 launch next week...

Here’s How to Get Your Photos Out of Google’s Photovine App

We've told you about Google's Photovine iPhone app a couple of times before, and we've also given you the bad news that the search/ad giant is killing the app. Offering an interesting take on the Instagram idea, Photovine offered users the opportunity to take and share photographs that revolved around a common theme, or Vine. We liked it, you liked it.

Google, apparently, did not.

So with Photovine going the way of the dodo sooner rather than later, we've received an email from the application's developers explaining just how to get our photos out before the service goes offline once and for all...

“The Daily” iPad Newspaper Only Has 120,000 Readers

Poor old Rupert Murdoch really isn't having the best of times is he? First there was the whole phone hacking debacle that is still rumbling along in the UK, then the same accusations found their way across the pond to the United States, and now it appears his pet project is a dysmal failure.

That pet project is, of course, The Daily — an iPad-only publication aimed at bringing news into the 21st century. The problem is, nobody is reading it...

With Apple holding an iPhone event next Tuesday, 4th of October, the world's tech press is gearing up for a busy week of announcements and reactions. Apple will be holding its event at its main campus in Cupertino, California, meaning that members of the press living outside the United States are out of luck.

Unless they happen to be in the UK, that is...
