As we approach the winter season, the days continue to grow shorter. Winter solstice, shortest day of the year in the northern hemisphere arrives, on December 21. To stave off the bleak winter darkness and to celebrate the arriving holiday season, lights are placed throughout homes, porches, and on roofs. These bokeh photography Christmas lights wallpapers capture the diffused, celebratory glow.
Macro photography Christmas lights wallpaper for iPhone
There is something about the amber or colored glow given by a strand of Christmas lights. Walking into an otherwise dark house to see the soft colors come from a Christmas tree or garland display brings joy.
Bokeh photography utilizes depth of field and backlight to create a similar glowing experience through the captured scene. The first four Christmas lights wallpapers are my favorite. A single bulb is the focal point of the background, while a bokeh effect lights the remaining scene. Macro photography, focused on the foreground single light, makes for a creative scene on your iPhone Lock Screen.
