The wallpapers we’re featuring in today’s collection are great for selenophiles, that is, people who love and are fascinated by the moon. Every picture here features a gorgeous full moon in different shades, set against a black, dark blue, or cloudy night sky, making them perfect for those who love the magic of space and the quiet beauty of the cosmos. Full moon wallpaper for phone and PC
All the pictures you see here were captured by Dejan Zakic using a Nikon Z6 camera. This isn’t the first time we’re featuring Dejan on iDB; we previously showcased his natural drone shots and European birds wallpaper collections. Now, coming back to the wallpapers, we have, of course, featured white/silver moon images, as this is how we usually see the moon at night. Aside from that, some of the wallpapers show the Earth’s only moon as reddish-brown, with an orange tint. The moon can appear red during a total lunar eclipse, when it’s low on the horizon, or when using a high-end camera with the right settings.
Not going into the science behind this, but I think a red-ish moon (especially the first image below) looks fantastic as iPhone wallpaper. However, I encourage you to have a peek at all the options.
And don’t forget to use iOS’s built-in shade effects, such as Black &White and Color Wash, when setting up the wallpaper for some cool effects.
