So, who plans on getting an iPhone X?

  • HarlemFinest

Keep that shit I’m good with my 7 plus

  • Sailor_V90

So there’s really no internal difference between the iPhone 8 and iPhone X (10) other than Face ID and an OLED screen…
    Not really impressed.

    • BlackPantherK

I’ve got to agree on you with that.

    • Yeah… All of the new features that I want in the iPhone are in the iPhone 8. And fortunately all of the things I DON’T want in the iPhone are in the iPhone X. At least Apple made it really easy to figure out where to spend my money this time around.

      • Sailor_V90

Oh absolutely, I couldn’t agree more. My only dismay is the storage. I really wish they would have kept the 128GB storage.

  • TwinSon

    Ya. No.

I had a 64 on my 6S but they got rid of it for the 128GB on the 7 Plus. So I got the 7 Plus at 128Gb. Now I either have to go back to 64Gb or go up to 256Gb? Easy Pass. I’m disappointed.

  • SpideyRules

64GB iPhoneX here. No need for 256…I stream almost everything anyway…

  • nirmitlamed

Not surprising giving the MBP latest announcement price tags.

The more people buy no matter the price tag the more Apple can raise the price tag. It’s all in your hands.

  • Jamessmooth

I’m getting it. But there better be plenty of supply if we have to wait TWO MONTHS!!!

    • Fanboy 

Agreed! Come the postponed launch date there better not be backorders 2 minutes into the preorder sales doors opening

  • doorsunopened

why not 128 and 256? 64 and 256 is quite a wide gap. But regardless, I’m probably gonna go with the 64 X. That screen…Face ID is kinda creepy, but I love the idea of just looking at it to unlock.

    • igobythisname

with all the brains at work at Apple, and they can’t get simple GB configuration options right…!?! It’s a shame!

      • SpideyRules

This is recognizing that you don’t NEED the 128GB option. Either you don’t need a lot of space, or you need A LOT of space. It’s where society is trending.

      • Apple has played the memory game for years. They jump back and forth in configurations to benefit their bottom line. Skipped 64 last time on entry level to push everyone to 128 mid tier option, now all of the sudden 64 gb is the starting tier (with a price hike) and no 128 available you have to jump straight to the top of the line. They always attempt to push you to the next level of memory and then go overboard on it so you don’t feel like you’re getting ripped off as bad.

      • Shadowelite123

Its a selling tactic. Plus not everyone needs storage larger than 64GB. If anything, the 64GB is for the cloud users and well 256GB is well 256GB of freedom lol They have storage tiers for a reason. Otherwise, they would just sell one tier with a bunch of storage.

  • Andrew Little

Negatory. Worst iPhone launch ever. Apple Watch 3 is a different story tho…

  • igobythisname

I was like -ehh, whatever/8? more like 7S! Then oh, X?! eww-that notch is covering photos & videos-terrible! but once I saw the Animojis, I was like HELLO!?! now thass’DOPE!….. LOL

  • Smegmatron

    Who needs a kidney anyways…

  • nova12

for the first time, I just never got hype during the event. maybe it was the leaks beforehand. but I actually think I’m going to stick with my 7 (first time I’ve ever not upgraded right away). I actually don’t like the X, and the 8 doesn’t pump me up.

I prefer fingerprint and a home button, I think — there are actually a lot of times I unlock when I’m not looking right at it (nightstand, end table face up, dock on my desk, etc).

    • nova12

that said, I’m def getting the new Apple TV 4K.

  • :D

Even worse in the UK at £999 (equivalent to $1327)

    • Patrick

tell me about it, that’s what I don’t understand we paying more for the same device

      • It could be to local taxes, high tariffs etc. It’s probably safe to assume that Apple is getting roughly the same cash no matter where it’s sold but some countries charge a lot to import products and to sell them. And while some companies eat those expenses to try and stay ahead of the local competition others pass those expenses along to the consumer.

    • stylesbeyond

cute you think £999 is a lot ha thats pretty cheap to what i was expecting

    • eigenlaut

even worse for the rest of EU – it’s 1149€ (equivalent to $1375)
the baseprice of the iphone 8 is now 799€ ($956)
apple phone prices keep going up

    • Andrieux Querido

Start at $1920 in Brazil or “6K Reais”

  • Patrick

2 questions maybe someone can help answer. when will the new earpods be showing online and regarding the new watch, they are not showing the gold aluminium with midnight blue strap, that’s the only one I want and their not selling that one, anyone have any idea if they will?

  • tomlou

The iphone 8 and 8 plus are just an S update, the X looks good but still lacks of features, I was waiting for wireless charging and they just gave us inductive charging which the android phones had it for years. The 3 iphone doesnt have any feature thats gonna lead the market like they did it before. Im disappointed of this launch.

  • iltas

Can i get any device in this month wat abut ios 11

  • n0ahcruz3

I guess i’ll be selling my MBP for this

  • drewjbx

apple is just not the same without their supreme leader…

  • techfreak23

I’m on the fence about it, but if I do get it, it will have to be the 256GB (since I have a 128 7). My main reason for jumping to the X and not the 8 or 8 Plus is the fact that it has all of the premium features of the Plus (dual cameras, bigger screen, better battery life, etc) but the body is much closer in size to the 4.7” phones. Can’t stand the size of the Plus models and I really wanted the cameras, but not worth me holding my phone with an awkward and uncomfortable grip.

That does bring up another question though… how will reachability work on the X since there is no home button…?

  • Rowan09

They make a huge mistake by offering only 64GB and 256GB. It should have been 128 and 256 instead. i believe this would justify the prices more.

  • Tony Trenkle Jr.

The one thing that I’m glad WASNT true was the function area. That means we get the full 5.8 inch display for our content, which is awesome!

  • Fefefefe

I’m from Brazil and will be in Miami on November 4th. Can I buy it at the pre sale and pick it up at the store? Is iPhone reserved for me?

  • Boris Aguiar

NO touch ID?! What a waste! And it’s nothing of innovation. Just focusing in worthless features. Real shame! Apple it’s loosing it.

  • Syjic_666

I really thought ‘South Africa’ would be on this list – it doesn’t seem like any African countries are on this list – what the Hell is going on man? 🙁
