One of my favorite apps, Workflow ($2.99), just received a significant 1.1.1 update on the App Store. Version 1.1.1 brings bug fixes and several significant new actions to the table, including Giphy search for quickly searching for GIF animated images; Convert Image, for quickly converting image file types, and more.

Here is a list of all of the new actions that you will see in Workflow 1.1.1:

  • Get Article from Web Page
  • Get Time Between Dates
  • Convert Image
  • Filter Articles
  • Send Message via Telegram
  • Get Details of Articles
  • Search Giphy
  • Get RSS Feeds from Page
  • Add to Overcast
Workflow 1.1.1

I’m particularly excited to see Convert Image make the cut, as I personally requested this, and the guys at Workflow came through.

All I wanted was to be able to convert a JPEG to a PNG, but they went above and beyond the call of duty:

Workflow Convert Image

Needless to say, I’m extremely impressed by their attention to detail and customer service. If you haven’t already checked out my Workflow post where I show you how to do some crazy stuff with images with WordPress, make sure you do. It might bring with it a whole new respect for this wonderful automation app.

Here’s the video associated with the post that I’m talking about:

Workflow is available for $2.99 on the App Store, and at that price, it’s basically a steal. The Workflow team even states that syncing between devices, along with other huge updates are in the cards. If you’re at all interested in iOS automation, then there simply is no better app. Go get it.
