Foo Fighters band

To celebrate the release of their new album called Sonic Highways, all the Foo Fighters albums are currently on sale on iTunes, with most of them starting at just $6.99. If you want to complete your Foo Fighters collection, now is the right time to do so.

An old man like me tends to believe that the earlier Foo Fighters albums are the best, but the younger crowd might disagree. At any rates, these are some albums you should definitely consider.

If you ask me, three must-haves are The Colour and the Shape, There Is Nothing Left to Lose, and One by One.

Nirvana, The Offspring, and Rage Against The Machine were the soundtrack of my teen years. When Kurt Cobain died in 1994 and Dave Grohl started Foo Fighters, I was a bit skeptical. It actually took me a couple years to get into this new band, but I quickly became a huge fan. The heavy guitars, the melodic yet powerful riffs, and the drums of Taylor Hawkins have that recognizable sound that cannot be mistaken for anything else.

Although his impact on rock music will never equal that of Nirvana and Kurt Cobain, I believe Dave Grohl is an amazing musician, who also happens to be a beast on stage and definitely one of the best performers I’ve ever seen.

Enough with the talking. Go get some, or even all of these albums. You’ll own a piece of rock history!
